| How cute is the bottom of the packaging featuring the question, "Voulez-vous?" (Translation: Do you want...) |
Here's some pictures of each individual eyeshadow in the palette from left to right. The trios featured (as per usual with Too Faced) are the Day look, the Classic look, and finally the Fashion look. Take a look:

Overall the palette is just beautiful. It is lush and full of gorgeous warm shades and then some cooler fun shades that remind me of the bright colors that I might experience being by the water in Greece, at a market in India, or, of course, in Saint Tropez. This palette is very French-inspired and of course since I'll try anything French I just knew that I had to buy this palette.
As for the quality of the shadows I will say I have only tried it once since I purchased it a few days ago. I used the colors from the "Day" look row. I applied the shadows on top of my MAC prolongwear concealer in NW15 as a primer. St. Tropez showed up as a faint gold sparkle on my lid. Next, Cannes was packed onto my lid and it kept crumbling off. I then sprayed my brush with a makeup setting spray from E.L.F cosmetics and tried reapplying Cannes. This wet-brush technique helped the shadow stick. I blended Soleil into my crease without having to wet my brush. When I blended the shadows out on my lid with a fluffy crease brush, however, St. Tropez was then barely visible if it was visible at all and Cannes looked pretty spotty so I had to re-wet my brush and apply more. Being such beautiful shadows I was a little disappointed in the application of the product. Once I got to work, however, I was complimented on my eyeshadow and was asked what I was wearing!
Is this palette worth the $36? If you don't have many palettes and you want something high-quality then no, I would say that this palette isn't for you. If you're a collector and you've just got to get your paws on the latest and greatest then yes, I would buy this (I did too after all!). I haven't tried the other shades yet but I'm hoping they'll perform a bit better than the first row of shadows and I'm going to keep working with them to see what gives the best color payoff. Maybe I need to use a stickier primer?
Will you be picking up anything from the Too Faced Sexy in St. Tropez Summer 2014 Collection? I've also got my eyes on those "Melted" liquid lipsticks...
Enjoy!
XOXO
Claire
